Second Plan(t) consists of a brand-new range of pots made from a combination of waste & natural materials, handmade with social impact. On top paying fair wages for the production, every sold pot contains an additional donation for 2Mothers to continue & expand their good work

Many mono bunches are sold every day, predominantly still in virgin fossil based BOPP sleeves. Although an efficient and lightweight means of packaging, annually this does result in large amounts of virgin fossil plastic being brought unto the market.

For many years, floral gift packaging consisted of a variety of materials, whatever was most appealing to the consumer. Often mixing paper with plastic in ways which were difficult to separate and let alone recycle as one product, often leading to a loss of precious raw materials.

In 2023 we aim to fully Embrace Sustanability & go One Step Beyond towards a circular economy with our latest campaign.

With the increasing scrutiny over plastic, paper floral packaging has gained in favor in recent years. And while paper is a great material in terms of circularity, by being fully made from renewable sources, mainly wood and increasingly also in different feedstocks like bamboo, it does come with an initial high environmental cost in the harvesting and production of paper.
